Start small.
Learn something.
Keep going.
Your first experiment doesn’t have to change the world. It just has to teach you something.
Find a problem worth solving
Notice one task that frustrates you or someone you know. Ask how they handle it today, what takes the most effort, and what a better result would look like.
Try this: write “I want to help [person] do [task] so they can [outcome].” Start with the person before choosing a tool.
Build your first AI prototype
Choose one small part of the problem. Give an AI tool clear context, an example, and a specific output to create. Ask it to explain its assumptions.
Try this: turn a rough idea into a simple page, a sample workflow, or a clickable sketch. Use sample data and check the result yourself.
Test it with a real person
Let someone try your prototype without explaining every step. Watch where they get stuck. Ask what helped and what they would change.
Choose one thing to improve, make the change, and test again. An imperfect prototype can give you a very useful answer.
